The World Series Of Warzone: The Basics
Back in May, Activision unveiled a new draft-based tournament series called the World Series of Warzone.
The World Series of Warzone will have four $300,000 tournaments (North American Trios, North American Duos, European Trios, and European Duos).
These tournaments will feature some of the top names in Call of Duty alongside those who qualified for the event via Open Qualifiers.
Each tournament will have five teams. Every team will be led by a Captain. These captains will then draft their personal squad and the other squads on their team.
For Duos, there are 15 squads per team. And for Trios tournaments, each team consists of 10 squads.
Scoring will be based on squad eliminations and where each squad places in a match. You can find details on the scoring system and all of the rules here.
When Does It All Kick-Off?
The first World Series of Warzone tournament will take place on June 23rd at 5 PM ET. Furthermore, the teams for this North American Trios tournament have been set. Here are the captains for each team:
- FaZe Swagg
- TheDanDangler
- Nadeshot
- TimTheTatman
- Aydan
You can find the full teams over at the official World Series of Warzone website or the tweet below.
