Call of Duty Warzone’s Verdansk 1984 Map Overview
Call of Duty Warzone just concluded their explosive live event which featured the destruction of the Modern Warfare version of Verdansk by a nuclear missile, thus taking players into a cold war themed 1984 Verdansk.
With the destruction of Verdansk several key features of Warzone were removed for the new map. Some of these include access to the hidden bunker throughout the battle royale map, the underground subway fast travel system being removed, and the 3 missile silos located in Verdansk being closed off.
Other changes included the removal of the Dam POI and the addition of the new Summit location, as well as the transformation of quarry into the salt mines and much more.
Warzone Survey Reveals New Red Door Fast Travel System
Warzone’s newest map, Verdansk 1984, is set to receive a brand new fast travel system consisting of the Red Door which was featured throughout the Black Ops Cold War campaign in Bell’s (Player) drug induced hallucinations. The red door was used throughout the title as a featured point and was surrounded in mystery up until the final moments of the campaign. We won’t spoil that for you.
This news come from a Warzone survey sent out to players asking for their feedback on the new Verdansk 1984 map. It mentions “The Red Doors (new fast travel system).

Per a new #Warzone survey, Verdansk 1984 is getting a NEW fast travel system with “Red Doors.” 👀
This will most likely function similar to the subway systems in the original Verdansk map. pic.twitter.com/L0ZmmphKzY
Warzone’s Previous Fast Travel System Issues
Call of Duty Warzone has already used a fast travel system in the past with the underground subway systems that were added to Verdansk in Season 6 of Modern Warfare and Warzone. This was added along with the opening of the inside of Stadium and the new maintenance station Warzone easter egg and Stadium access code easter egg.
While Call of Duty fans rejoiced for the new changes at the time, they were unaware of the many issues which would plague the fast travel system in Warzone. From bugs, to players being sent into a gas zone to their death, to players games completely crashing, there was more wrong with the subway system than there was right.
The subway system’s were eventually closed off with the Zombie outbreak from the Vodianoy ship in Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, along with the lower section of stadium and all of the bunkers.
Let’s hope that the new Red Door fast travel system in Verdansk 84 functions MUCH better than its predecessor.

I dont play cold war I can’t get into the cartoon graphics and you bring out new guns thats so hard to unlock. I’m not buying blueprints while there hackers in the game. Can you just make the new pistol snipper and shotgun free to play without doing challenges thats so hard to do on warzone. Also had new maps on mw multi player
