Zombies Are Headed To The Dam
For weeks now, Activision and developer Raven Software have been releasing “Containment Protocol Alerts” on the impending undead threat in Warzone. They have also been foreshadowing the next infected locations by sending out teasers to various content creators.
Call of Duty League’s Joe “MerK” DeLuca has shared the latest teaser from Activision. This time, it appears that the zombie horde will be heading to the dam. Furthermore, this warning message actually had a date and time attached to it.
“Once the hostiles reach here, we levee a guess that Verdansk is all but gone to the damned. April 21st, 12 PM”
The official Call of Duty Twitter account also sent out this post saying:
The end is near…”
Ever since these infection zones started to move from POI to POI, it seems the intrigue around the entire event has gone down drastically.
Admittedly, it probably doesn’t help that the zombies are just moving locations instead of the entire map being slowly encapsulated by the undead. It also doesn’t help that there were reports of zombies at the dam as early as last week.
Still, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out and if April 21st will be the start of a new era for Warzone. Keep in mind, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Three is rumored to begin on April 22nd.
What Is The Nuke Event In Warzone?
If you somehow don’t know about the rumored nuke event in Warzone, we have you covered.
Notable Call of Duty leaker ZestyCODLeaks tweeted out a video that showcased audio clips from a new game mode called Plague (which is rumored to be part of the nuke event). In this mode, zombies have overtaken Verdansk. You’re tasked with reclaiming the map. If you fail, the nuke detonates. If you succeed, you exfil from Verdansk.
