What’s Next For Black Ops Cold War Zombies?
In a Twitter post yesterday, Treyarch sent out a teaser for the next Black Ops Cold War zombies map.
Alongside the vague overlook of the map, there’s also a message from “R” (we’ll talk about who this may be in a second) to “M” (most likely, this is Samantha Maxis).

Today, the studio sent out a new teaser accompanied by another message from “R.”

Let’s talk about the messages on each of these teasers. A popular theory online is that “R” is none other than Edward Richtofen, who was one of the main characters in the old Aether storyline.
YouTuber TheGamingRevolution has a great video discussing this theory and you can see that video here.
Although Treyarch didn’t reveal where this location is in either of these posts, countless pieces of intel indicate this could be the highly rumored “Firebase Z” map located in Vietnam.
What Will Treyarch Announce On 115 Day?
Last week, Treyarch released another teaser, this time directing fans towards 115 day. For those who don’t know, Element 115 is a major part of the Black Ops zombies storyline and Treyarch would later turn January 15th (1/15) into a special event for whatever game they are currently working on.
And yes, we'll have more Zombies goodies to talk about in addition to Cranked, which also goes live next week!

Due to the recent hints from the developer, there has been a lot of talk from players online saying that the new map featured above could be officially revealed on 115 day.
While this would be an insane reveal, players shouldn’t expect to actually play this map until at least next month.
Back in December, Treyarch’s Kevin Drew was talking about the Jingle Hells and Cranked modes that would be coming to Black Ops Cold War zombies in Season 1. During this segment, Drew also announced that the next map would be released at the start of Season 2.
Season 1 is currently expected to end in late February.
