Is Treyarch Announcing More Black Ops Cold War Zombies Content On 115 Day?
For years, Element 115 has been a huge part of Treyarch zombies lore. The studio would later turn the name into a special event taking place on January 15th called 115 day. In 2019, Treyarch celebrated 115 day with a zombies double XP event and new features for Black Ops 4. Now, it appears that the studio has plans to celebrate 115 day with Black Ops Cold War.
Treyarch just posted a cryptic tweet about 115 day, telling fans of the zombies mode to stay tuned.
Based on the replies to that tweet, many players are excited by this news. And understandably so. Even with the addition of Jingle Hells in December and everything included in the game at launch, there has been a noticeable lack of content for Black Ops Cold War zombies.
That being said, fans shouldn’t expect something as huge as a new map being added to the game on 115 day. Back in December, Treyarch’s Kevin Drew revealed that the next Black Ops Cold War zombies map will be coming at the start of Season 2, which is set to begin in late February.
Thankfully, Treyarch has already revealed some of the upcoming Black Ops Cold War zombies content. On January 14th, Cranked will be added to Die Maschine. This mode works much like the multiplayer version. You have a timer and when that timer hits zero, you’ll die. To stay alive and reset the clock, all you have to do is kill zombies.
Along with this, PlayStation players will be able to play Raid in Onslaught and collect additional Dark Aether intel.
