Nuketown has been a staple of the Black Ops franchise since appearing in the first installment of the series. Each game would take the small map and put their own spin on it. And that’ll continue with Black Ops Cold War.
Simply titled Nuketown ’84, the beloved multiplayer map is back. Activision has released a brief trailer for the upcoming map, which you can see down below:
Nuketown (Site B) has seemingly been abandoned for quite a while. The entire map is filled with graffiti art and anti-war posters that completely fit in with its early 1980s time period. Also, the buildings are starting to completely fall apart due to a lack of maintenance.
Other than that, it looks like the classic Nuketown experience that Black Ops fans have loved for years. Two main spawn points, a bunch of vehicles in the middle, and high-octane close-quarters action.
When Does Nuketown ’84 Release In Black Ops Cold War?
Nuketown ’84 will arrive in Black Ops Cold War on November 24th at 10 AM PST. This will be the first DLC map for the latest Call of Duty title, which has been criticized for its lack of multiplayer maps.
A few weeks later on December 10th, BOCW Season 1 will begin. Season 1 is set to add more modes, maps, and other content to the game.
If you recently purchased BOCW digitally, you should be eligible for a free Nuketown-themed weapons pack. This offer goes away on December 4th. To see how to redeem this free weapon bundle, click here.
