With the first weekend down, Activision has turned their attention to the second and final weekend of the Black Ops Cold War beta. Via an updated blog post, the Call of Duty staff has revealed the exact beta times and how people can pre-load the beta on each platform.

And before we get into all of this, it should be said that if you are getting a code from another source (like Xfinity), you should receive a code via an email from Activision.

How To Download The Black Ops Cold War Beta On PS4

Last week, those who digitally pre-ordered on PS4 could start playing the game early and pre-load the beta ahead of time. In the second weekend, the Black Ops Cold War beta will open up to everyone on PS4, regardless if you pre-ordered the full game or not. You can even pre-load the beta right now by searching for it on the PS Store. Also, if you already have it installed, you don’t need to redownload the beta for the second weekend.

The open beta for PS4 will begin on Thursday, October 15th at 1 PM ET.

How To Download The Black Ops Cold War Beta On PC

Any PC player with a Battle.net account can pre-load the beta now by searching for it under the “Partner Games” section. It’ll take up 39 GB of storage space.

If you digitally pre-ordered the game on PC, you can start playing on Thursday, October 15th at 1 PM ET.

How To Download The Black Ops Cold War Beta On Xbox One

As long as you pre-ordered the game digitally on an Xbox platform, you can pre-load the beta now by searching for it on the Microsoft Store. It’ll take up 20 GB of storage space.

Early access for those who pre-ordered on Xbox will also start on Thursday, October 15th at 1 PM ET.

Open Beta Weekend, Crossplay, And Fireteam: Dirty Bomb

Starting on Saturday, October 17th, the Black Ops Cold War beta will be open for everyone. You will NOT need an early access code or a digital pre-order to play it. Furthermore, this weekend’s open beta will feature crossplay between all platforms.

In the first weekend, players experienced many playlists Black Ops Cold War will have to offer from 6v6 traditional modes to the 12v12 Combined Arms variants. The upcoming second weekend of the beta will see our introduction to Black Ops Cold War’s 40-player Fireteam: Dirty Bomb playlist.

The open beta will come to an end on Monday, October 19th at 1 PM ET.
