Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Release Date And Trailer Revealed

Activision and Treyarch have revealed the opening cinematic trailer for Black Ops Cold War Season 2. You can see that trailer down below.

Set somewhere in the jungles of Laos, the trailer focuses on Frank Woods and his team as they attempt to rescue Russell Adler. If you remember the cutscene from Season 1, Adler was taken captive by Stitch and being transported to a new location.

This trailer also reveals more operators coming to Black Ops Cold War throughout the next season. Most notably, we have Kapono “Naga” Vang from the Warsaw faction.

Naga is really the focal point of the intro. It begins with the operator stalking a soldier and brutally executing him in the jungle.

When Naga notices Woods’ helicopter, he informs Stitch of their arrival and that Adler is heading to Verdansk. Since Black Ops Cold War takes place decades before Modern Warfare, it’ll be interesting to see if there will be any changes to the Warzone map in Season 2.

Surely, there will be no shortage of players combing through every bit of footage from this trailer as we wait until Season 2’s launch.

Even with its faults, BOCW Season 1 brought a ton of new and exciting content to the game. And based on previous leaks we’ve seen so far, it seems that Season 2 will add even more content.

BOCW Season 2 will release on Feb. 25th.
