A classic Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map could be returning in Black Ops Cold War Season 1!

As first reported by @BlackOpsLeaks on Twitter, dataminers have found “s1_mp_raid_tu_cairo” in the game files for Black Ops Cold War.

But, of course, you should take this news with a grain of salt until we hear anything official from Activision.

As previously stated, Raid was one of the base multiplayer maps included in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Parts of the map would later be included in Black Ops 4’s  Blackout mode. You can find the Raid section of Blackout in the Estate area.

One of the main critiques of BOCW multiplayer is a distinct lack of fun maps to play on. Hopefully, adding this remake of Raid (alongside the other new maps coming in Season 1) will help quiet some of those criticisms.

More Black Ops Cold War Season 1 Leaks Emerge

Along with Raid possibly being added in BOCW, @BlackOpsLeaks also dropped a ton of other info regarding the upcoming Season 1.

The leaks include new potential maps, weapons, calling cards, cosmetic bundles, Christmas-themed changes, Rebirth Island in Warzone, and a whole lot more. Seriously, there is a lot to unpack there. You can see our write up on those leaks by clicking here.

What are your thoughts on Raid possibly coming back in BOCW? Do you think it’s smart for the game to include more remakes of classic Call of Duty multiplayer maps? Let us know in the comment section below.
