Battlefield 2042 Is Going To Be Wild

EA’s Battlefield 2042 certainly left its mark on the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 conference. Here is our first look at gameplay:

Even though this was a brief trailer with pre-alpha footage, it did showcase a lot of the gameplay mechanics EA revealed a few days ago in a blog post. We saw Specialist talents, the ability to modify your weapon on the fly, and the wingsuit.

The trailer also showed off the game’s dynamic weather system and how it will heavily impact matches.

Sadly, we will have to wait until EA Play Live on July 22nd to see more chaotic footage. This will also be when EA and DICE reveal a brand-new game mode for the upcoming Battlefield title. EA describes this mode as a “love letter” to fans.

Battlefield 2042 is set to release on October 22nd, 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin).
